In a sort of predicament

Hey so, recently I got offered to be interviewed by my local news to talk about a certain program that recently came into our school district. However, they only want me to cover the positives of this new program when there are quite obviously negatives! Now I’m sort of stuck in a pickle because the moral side of me wants to decline because I wouldn’t be able to express my genuine opinion and part of why I wanted to do journalism was to just tell the truth. But the other side of me sees this as such an amazing opportunity and I wouldn’t get to see how news works close up. Could anyone offer some advice for this?
