How to proceed? Songbirds by Puzzle Lab wooden puzzle

Birds - easy. Leaves - medium (shade and vein pattern matching) Flowers - Done so far by finding distinct patterns like bits of leaves and branches. The ones remaining are all shades of purple with no memorable shapes. (About 60 pieces left)
Now what?? How should I sort?
