Travel advice Narita to Minato

I haven’t been back to Japan since 2017. At that time I had JR passes and was holiday so had plenty of time.

I’m going next week and will be there 4 days for work. I’m arriving in Narita at 6:30am and will be travelling to a Kitasato University in Shirokane, Minato City.

I was initially looking at the Narita Express but now seems like the skyliner and connecting to the Hibiya line is faster/less transfers.

• I’ve loaded the Suica card on my phone. Do I need to buy a separate sky liner ticket?
• is the Suica only for other train lines (eg Hibiya line)?
• any other transit tips? Because it’s such a short work trip I don’t want to waste time (and money) buying the wrong things. Suica wasn’t advertised (and apple wallet wasn’t a thing) when I last went. We just had our JR passes in our pockets.
