Is Online Study as bad as my Coaching projects???

Hi guys 2026 Aspirant. Long post but u need it for context, please bare with me(or else tldr for low attention span i guess)

Recently in my coaching (can't reveal name, but small coaching) the founder gave a speech as to how online studies fools students, tricks them into teaching board/main level only, and destroys students learning ability. My physics teacher said recently that they are going to ban mobile phones in hostels, by investigating through friends and checking bags n stuff.

now, why am i crying bout this? because yt is so essential to me. We have 3 physics teachers for some godforsaken reason, out of which 2 are shit( not the above mentioned one, he is strict but teaches good) as one teaches boards level only and other plucks solution out of thin air, which you cannot understand, same for physical chem.

so i study from abj sir and alk sir on yt. My accuracy shot up from 50% to 95%, marks went from 40 to 72(physics) and 50 to 65+(chem), class %ile from 30's to 93+. started loving physics.

agar yt na hota toh mera poora mechanics kharab ho jata, nlm mei aadhi cheeze rush/chodd ke phadhayi, aur aaj bhi rush me hi chal rahe hai for some reason. I hate it here so much. saale mahaul narayana, allen wala banate hai aur padhate hai pura aadha adhura. modules mei kuch grading hi nahi hai, above mains level question bhare sidha, jise tumhe dekh ke cool lag jaye ekdum, aur aadhi module toh milti bhi nahi.

But studying online also gives me some disadvantages, offline ki class karna cumpulsory hai, aur online ki karna mere liye essential, time manage nahi hora+ i am a bit inconsistent, aur abhi bimar hone ka wajah se thode backlog ho gaye hai, and it is becoming harder to clear them day by day.

it is going to be very hard to convince papa for leaving coaching, as he believes that coachings are never at fault, aur accha baccha kaise bhi padh leta hai and all that.

Where do i go from here? Kya sirf books se padh padh ke sab clear ho jaya karega, after mobiles will be banned?

TLDR: Does online harms someone learning abilty?, and is studying online+offline viable for someone?, and how efficient is solely learning through books?
