Also I’m gonna defend Cecil here. The main argument is that he used his power over mark in this fight way too soon. But I think it’s justified, Cecil has seen how strong mark has gotten, by letting him just get away with going against the GDA again it might reinforce the idea that he’s above them. Cecil is sensibly trying to keep mark on as short a leash as possible, he doesn’t want a superhero who is too independent like omni man was.
