Invest In A Marker
I have this customer that used to report me constantly for giving them the wrong order. Nothing would happen, but it was just constantly, "I didnt order this! Im leaving a bad review!"
It got so bad that I started thinking that maybe they had a psychological problem. They lived near a Senior Center and they were very old themselves so I just assumed, that it had to be the answer. I checked everytime! I made sure it was a thing the wanted... It still happened.
I thought that I maybe just wasnt cut out for Instacart until she said I gave her 30 wrong items on a 1 person batch, complaining I gave her someone elses order. I reported to Customer service, saying I have a copy of receipts, her information and it eventually came off my record.
Month went by, and I didnt notice I got her order again. Similiar items popped up and I decided to Write her name on the sides of the bags and how many orders I was doing, which was 1... numero Uno!
She messaged me saying I got her order wrong and I was purposefully giving her someone elses order, which is MENTAL. I sent her a copy of her receipt, said she was rhe only one I was shopping for and told her to look on the side of the bags, explaining she has reason to think it was anyones order other than hers...
... "Whatever. Go f**k yourself, Clown!" was the response I got. I havent had a problem with her since.
Invest in a sharpie and write the Order Letter on the side of bags and/or boxes. It saves you a ton of confusion and Ive even gotten compliments from people, for being organized.
