Customer chat closed after delivery??

In the last few weeks, after I submit the photo for drop-off orders, the customer chat is still open, but all the messages are gone from the shop and nothing I send shows up. It's just a blank screen with the customer's name at the top. I used to be able to message the customer right after I submitted the photo, and still see our entire chat. My app is updated. Is anyone else having this issue?
