Sunscreen reviews

Sharing reviews of some sunscreens I have been using.

  1. Allies of Skin: Invisible sunscreen gel - Very true to its name, this is a very lightweight and non-greasy cream. It spreads without any white cast, and after two minutes of application, it feels like there is almost nothing on the skin. It really great for oily skin. I used it at the beach, and it's a great water-resistant option. It is on the pricier side, though.

  2. The Face Shop sun serum - Another lightweight cream. It has a slightly watery consistency, which gives me an initial white cast. After application, the skin feels hydrated, so you feel something is there on the face. I feel it is slightly sticky, and since it is not water-resistant, it gets a little greasy when sweating. It is not very expensive, so it can be used as a daily wear option.

  3. BOJ Relief Sun - My most extensively used cream for daily wear. Very hydrating, with good consistency. Gives a very nice, glowing finish to the skin. The cream is very light and can be used for combination skin. Pricing also seems fine, so it can be used for daily wear, IMO.

  4. Re'equil Ultra Matte sunscreen - Very greasy, thick cream. I don't like the smell, either. It's a great, budget-friendly, water-resistant sunscreen option, but I honestly don't like the texture. It is really heavy on the skin, and you definitely need a cleansing oil to remove it.
