f404/f414 vs f35...[read caption for explanation]

i think we all collectively know and agree that f35 for india is a bad idea. and ONE of the MANY reasons for that is the highly likely possibility that america could stop spares, parts supplies, after sales support, software updates and in some cases even lock the customer nation out and rendering the system useless. my question is, if we agree about this and reject the f35 as a community, what exactly do we do about the f404 and f414 engines? the same logic with the f35 can apply to these two engine models. what if the americans cut us off there during a crucial time? then our entire tejas mk1, mk1a, mk2 and amca mk1 fleet will be rendered useless. how are we ok with that? if we fear the LM f35, then shouldn't we fear the GE engines too?
