Bangladesh man 'illegally' settles in India, infiltrates more to expand business
Mohd. Iqbal Hossain alias Farhan Khan, an illegal Bangladeshi immigrant, lived a double life with wives in Bangladesh and India, ran a garment business in Delhi, and trafficked Bangladeshis for labor; arrested by Delhi Police Crime Branch with forged Indian documents. Previously lived in England (2004-2009), returned to Bangladesh, entered India illegally in 2017, and was arrested in 2020 for selling illegal SIMs. Separately, BSF foiled a smuggling and infiltration bid in West Bengal’s Cooch Behar, arresting five Bangladeshi nationals, including a couple and three transgender individuals, who were illegally living in Delhi and Haryana.
