I wish I could get the IBCK lens on…

Pregnancy and parenting books (I guess we got this slightly with Tiger Mother).

I just found out I’m expecting and I’m extremely dubious of all the books post-IBCK! I’m sure “What’s to Expect When You’re Expecting” is mostly fine, but “Bringing Up Bebe?” I can just imagine it’s the “French Women Don’t Get Fat” of baby books (although I guess it was MP that skewered that one). “Cribsheet?” I wonder if Michael Hobbes could debunk all that data.

If anyone in this sub has parenting, pregnancy, and infancy books they love, I’d take your recommendation over anyone else’s!
