Quality over quantity stories? ER

Just left my Day 9 ER appointment, found out I only have 7 follicles with only 3 follicles at or above 18mm - all on my right ovary, with another 1 follicle at around 14mm.

My left ovary has 3 follicles and all under 10mm. The clinic doesn’t think I’ll be able to get many eggs but they’ll still move forward with ER on Thursday or Friday (2/6 or 2/7). This came as a shock because at baseline I was at 21 follicles and that’s closer to the number the clinic was expecting to see toward the end. Other than one MMC, I don’t have known issues. I’m 37.5 years old, which I am sure is a factor.

I cried my eyes out all morning but now am trying to pump myself up that it’s all about quality over quantity! Does anyone have good stories/results from a lower number of eggs being retrieved (9 or under)? Thank you so much!
