Seeking tips for getting started on publications or projects? (IMG with zero research experience)

Hello, fellow IMGs! I graduated with an MBBS degree this July and am planning to start preparing for the USMLE. To strengthen my resume, I believe having a research project or a publication in an indexed journal would be very beneficial.

However, I studied abroad (not in my home country) and have now returned to my home country. I currently have no research experience or publications.

Could anyone provide genuine advice on how I can move forward with this? It would be greatly appreciated!
