I'm watching season 10, does Charlie Day seem like he's not having a great time?

I'm watching the entire series for the first time, and so far I've generally enjoyed it. But for some reason season 10 just feels tired and generally milder than previous seasons. Charlie especially looks tired and bored to be there the entire time. Am I crazy, or is there a reason it seems that way?
