Is there a difference when hauling things between gas and hybrid SantaFe?

For context, family of 5 usually taking trips to visit family from Chicago to Tennessee twice a year. And loading up kids for sports and such.

Is there a difference in performance between gas and hybrid models when logging around a ton of stuff?
