Hyundai Sonata 2015 theft (ignition issue) Car key won’t go into my ignition lock 😖😖😭😢

Someone break into my 2015 Hyundai sonata last night.

This morning when I tried to put my keys into the ignition it won’t go in and that’s how I knew that someone tried to break into my car.

My guess is that something is stuck inside the ignition and that’s why I am not able to insert my key.

I called the locksmith and they told me it will cost me around $800-$1000 to replace a new ignition and door Handle lock.

I am a college student and this amount is out of my budget. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this issue? Or replacing the ignition is the only way out ?
