Can treating hypothyroid impact iron levels negatively?

My hemoglobin levels have decreased since taking Synthroid even on supplementation, is this normal or cause for concern?

Started taking 25mcg Synthroid 7 weeks ago with TSH at 11.1. Other routine blood work was done and my hemoglobin and ferritin were low at this time (they're always low and have been for years even with supplementation and I do not menstruate). I had my follow up blood work. TSH is now at 5.86 and my T3 and T4 both increased from .75 to 0.9 (roughly - T3 range is 0.70-1.3 ng/dL and T4 range is 0.6-1.6 ng/m). My primary increased me to 50mcg and wants to repeat labs in 9 weeks (no idea why this long). I feel minimally better symptoms wise, slightly less fatigued and anxious and my skin seems less dry but nothing life changing. She says our goal is to get my TSH under 4.7 and we'll maintain there (which is when I will ask for a referral or get a new primary - my TSH was 3 in 2020 and I felt like crap and she said I didn't need treatment).

Here's the weird thing, my hemoglobin has decreased. It went from 11.7 to 11.3 (range 12.0-15.0 g/dL). So has my RBC, hematocrit, and mean platelet volume. My doctor did not retest my ferritin but is going to next time. I have been taking an iron supplement every day (Vitron C - 65mg elemental iron with 125mg Vitamin C) and always more than 4 hours away from taking my Synthroid. All the research I can find says lowering TSH and treating hypo should improve iron levels? My primary isn't concerned and just said to take my iron every other day and that should fix it.
