Thoughts on an aerial roaming boss?

I have been thinking about the potential for an aerial boss. I'm curious to know what people think about it.

Thematically I feel like some sort of large insect, bat, or owl makes sense.

I also think it makes sense that it only appears in the night game modes to avoid it being so easily seen.
