[Hiring] Art Nouveau style cover art for novel set in Iran ($500 minimum)
Hello all,
I am currently finishing up a novel which tells the story of a “legendary” romance that unfolds in contemporary Iran, in which a “hero” wanders the world in search of his beloved and crowns himself shah in the process. I am looking for a style resembling Art Nouveau poster art (I’m sure you know the famous posters by Alphonse Mucha), with a touch of inspiration from Persian miniature (especially those painted during the Qajar period, such as the pictures at the bottom of this post, Google has some more if you search).
This cover should be a high-quality piece of artwork (as I mentioned in the title, the budget is $500 minimum), I do not want something which looks too cartoony, or like an anime or superhero comic. I already have a general layout for the art in mind, I would just need your skills, personal creative touches, and feedback as an artist to make it come to life. This novel will be the first in a trilogy, so I might ask for some more work for the next books if we work together well enough as collaborators. There is no deadline at the moment, and either a digital drawing or a high-res scan of a physical drawing is welcome.
