Beginning a new franchise
So i began a new franchise and used fantasy draft for the first time and i thought it would be fun to update about it as time goes on. Im playing as Cleveland. Here were my picks before starting the franchise:
Lamar Rose (G) - i got a rookie with 4.5 star potential right away and he can run my offense as the point guard for hopefully a long time to come
Skyler Murphy (F) - i wanted a couple people who i could pass to who can shoot well and he was one of the better ones available
Leo Lion (G) - another good shooter plus he can also handle the ball and make plays too
Samuel Pacheco (C) - i needed some defense and he was the best center available. He has a good shot blocking stat and begins with the snatcher skill which is nice
Dino Nugget (PF) - the best name in the game. Also another really strong defender to round out my starters
Ricky Hubbard (F) - a 4 star potential player who is a bit well rounded. Hes gonna be a project for now as hes beginning with only 1 star.
Jaga C (C) - every other center looked like a bum so i grabbed him up before he could get taken. So now i have a decent backup center
Jay Gray (G) - hes probably a year or two out from retiring, but he still has a decent 3 and mid range shot so im just hoping he comes in off the bench and hits a few 3 pointers
Pierre Saint (F) - dont know much about this guy. He only has 3 star potential and is in year 10 so thats probably gonna drop soon enough but not like there was anything better. Dont really expect much here tbh
Roger Holt (G) - he was one of the last guys available. It looks like this is his last season in the league so hes just going to be the guy who comes off the bench so Rose can have a couple minutes to rest
