Did Acheron Make Powercreep worse?

I am not saying Acheron is bad or it is her fault, but I think due to how strong she is, she created this strange trend of making DPS characters as strong as her or close enough, yet still OP in a sense. Firefly and Feixiao came after her and they are very strong in their own right. Castorice is coming around the 2nd anniversary for this game, so what is the odd of her being super powerful (a very good time for Hoyo to "sell" another over-powerful unit)? I think Acheron expedited powercreep even though it was inevitable anyway.
