Why Himeko is so loved by Honkai Impact community.
There are many people who came from Hi3 who love Himeko from HSR. But, There are many people who don't know anything about history of her character. So, this post is just basic understanding of the legacy of her character from HI3.
Some facts about Himeko from Hi3. It contains SPOILERS so be adviced.
Himeko was the major of the Hyperion battle airship. Before our character(Captain) became the new head of the Hyperion.
She was a drunk girl failure, she loved beer and was often sloshed.
she was a student of Welt(same from hsr). Welt was also responsible for killing her father but she died before finding out anything about her father's death.
During her training as a Valkyrie, She lost her squad leader Ragna by the hands of Kiana who awoke her herrscher person at the age of 10. Himkeo decided to become a teacher as a way to honor Ragna's wishes.
She was a huge slut her very first appearance in the Hi3 canon manga is her on a date with a random guy she gets a call and she dupes him after giving him a big smooch and talking about how her work is coming between her romantic life as she can't find a partner. It was hinted that she wanted to spend the night with that random guy.
She is the person responsible for making our main trio(kiana mei bronya) into Valkyries as she was the one who made the deal with Herrscher Mei.
She later started teaching the trio at saints freya Valkyrie training high. She loved her students so much that she willingly sacrificed herself so that her students can escape while she saves kiana from HoV.
She served as the perfect role model for her students. Despite all her flaws she dearly loved people she was close with. She believed that despite all the negativity and ugliness in the world her students will always make the right choice as she believed in not only their potential but also their character. That's the reason why community loves her as we follow Kiana as the protagonist we see her image whenever we and kiana feel lost.
Himeko was the butterfly who burned her own wings to illuminate the way ahead for her students. All while smiling for their better future.
