Meross garage keeps disconnecting

I purchased the Meross smart garage door opener (MSG100HK) late last year after reading a bunch of reviews and recommendations. For some reason, the unit will disconnect from my Wi-Fi (2.4ghz) every 3-4 weeks and I manually have to reconnect it each time.

Has anyone experienced this? The Wi-Fi signal is strong. My router is in my living room which is close to my garage in proximity.
