Feature request: Use OpenAI’s APIs to transcribe routines into Hevy

The most tedious part for many is creating routines on Hevy. Perhaps a lot of people use the preset ones but many of us use routines from other sources. And 99% of the time, these sources are digital today. If they’re physical, a photo is enough to create a digital version.

The idea I’m proposing is to use OpenAI’s APIs (or any other lab you prefer; I mention OpenAI only because I believe it’s still the lab offering SOTA models) to take a photo as input and create pre-structured routines on Hevy.

I already used GPT-4o to transcribe notes from a .pdf to add to each exercise on Hevy, and it’s 100% accurate.

Think about those who join a gym and are given a paper with the basic routine: all they need is a photo, and it’s instantly transcribed into Hevy, ready for use.

What do you think?
