What is considered a liquid at European airports?

The last time I went to Europe (UK and Netherlands) in 2016 I was really surprised when they took my solid deodorant and said it was a liquid. I’m traveling to 4 different countries in Europe soon, and I’m worried that they will take a lot of items again. Last time I went, they made me take all of my liquids and put them in their approved ziplock bag, so trying to get ahead of it by separating the solids from liquids this time.

The first bag contains true liquids, which includes my prescription retinol cream, oils, lotion, sunscreen, concealer, etc.

The second bag is what I consider solids. Solid deodorant, foundation stick, eyeliner sticks, mascara, etc. Are the items in the second bag a liquid as well?

Looking online hasn’t helped much, so seeing if anyone has advice here.
