Decorating

I'm only 30 hours into the game...I'm really enjoying it so far. It's relaxing and fun. But I am wondering about the cabins... do they get upgraded at some point after you fix them? Are they expanded at all? If not, I feel that would be a good feature to add to the game. I love decorating and that's one aspect I think this game falls short on. Maybe it's not meant to be a decorating game. The only thing we can decorate is the interior of the cabins...which are super tiny. That's why I was wondering if the cabins get upgraded at any point.
