Unpopular opinion but Siege Ready should not be left in its bugged state.

Siege Ready is plenty good enough as described and should have been fixed instead of being left bugged. As it stands it's frankly far too useful and treads upon the territory of Gunslinger and a potential future passive that focuses on support weapons.

Say I want to run the frontier gunslinger build implied by the new warbond with the repeater and the senator. If I wear the new armor my revolver performance is excellent but if I use it like a primary it will run out of ammo very fast. The repeater is great on its own but its main weakness is of course the reload speed. Suddenly the Siege Ready armor passive jumps out from behind a crashed Pelican and holds me up with a Redeemer to remind me it's there to solve both of those problems with extremely minor compromises as well as give me an extra buff to most support weapons. I get that style has intrinsic value but I can't help feeling bothered knowing I could have a much better version of the build if I compromise.

Siege Ready should be the primary buff, not the everything buff. To that end I would propose these changes:

Siege Ready: Restrict this to primaries once again. I know we all hate straight nerfs so if necessary (it isn't) maybe throw on +5% to both stats. +35% reload speed, +25% ammo. This is still a very good and competitive armor passive that will see plenty of use.

Gunslinger: This feels great to use but actually taking advantage of it is a short-lived joy. It aught to buff ammo capacity, and since secondary ammo pools are relatively small I feel like it should be at least 30%. Four stats is too cluttered, so we can give up draw/holster speed or recoil control. Draw speed is less useful but more thematic, and recoil control is something we already have on two existing armor passives. So maybe something like +30% ammo, +40% reload speed, +50% draw/holster speed altogether? Interested in thoughts.

I think this ammo-buffing version of Gunslinger should be allowed to buff the Ultimatum as well. It was only a problem when Siege Ready did it because SR already does so much more on top of it - if the armor passive was only buffing the ultimatum it would not be a problem in my opinion.

This also leaves room for a future armor passive to focus on buffing support weapons without making it compete against 'the everything perk.' I'd rather not see people who use SR mainly for MGs and such lose out so my hope would be that these changes come at the same time as such a new passive. One can dream.

Final unrelated side rant; the Constitution doesn't need a buff except for maybe a stripper clip. We just need a new primary to go into that Sniper Rifle category that came with the Killzone plasma gun. All I'm asking for is a nice, simple, bolt-action scoped rifle that shoots regular 12.5mm rounds (same as HMG and AMR) out of a 5 round box magazine and deals 250-350 damage with AP4. Maybe give it incendiary rounds because that'd be cool. Or silence it, I don't care. Just make it purely single target, capable of long range, and with better handling than the Eruptor.
