How common is racism in this game?

I’m pretty new to the game haven’t dealt with many jerks tbh and I know all multiplayer games have the occasional racist who’s usually some dumb kid trying to be edgy, however this was something else. I was in a full unit and what I heard from 3 of them had to be some of the most vile, hateful, and gross racist shit I’ve ever heard gaming. And these weren’t kids they had to be mid 20s at the absolute youngest. Had to report and change units it was so bad. Just hoping this isn’t more common than it is in other games I know it’s probably not common at all and a tiny minority of the player base but I really don’t want to be working with and talking with people who say shit like that
