Heimer support players: what do you want from me?

I am a new player and adc main. Needless to say I am still in bronze, game is hard.

I have a problem: Whenever I have a Heimerdinger support, it automatically means we lose our lane. I have no idea if they are doing the right things but I can't change them anyways. How am I, as an adc, supposed to play around Heimer support? I feel like my bronze monkey brain is just too small to understand. These are my problems:

1) I inevitably lose cs to Heimer turrets. The turrets constantly hitting creep wave in addition to everything that is going on make it very hard for a new player to consistently lasthit while still trading, dodging abilities etc. I would guess that is just a skill issue. But what do I do when we have to farm under tower? Melee creeps take 2 tower shots and then I can last hit, right? Not with Heimer support. The constant turret damage makes lasthitting under tower feel like a gamble. Is there some kind of trick to it? Should I just give some cs to my support? I assume Heimerdinger can do quite a bit with extra money.

2) Constantly pushing. As a new player I am still trying to get a grasp on wave management and priority and try to apply it in my games. With Heimerdinger support that goes out the window. Lane constantly hard pushes, no freezing, no slow pushing multiple waves. This leaves us very vulnerable to ganks and we also usually don't get a lot done when it comes to dives. One reason is probably that I am just bad at diving but it is also hard to do because we are never able to build a big wave in the first place. When the enemy adc has decent waveclear it feels like we are just giving them free farm. Also, when they have an engage support and strong early game adc, eventually they just engage on one of us and run us down.

Should I just not worry about any of this, hard push and play for plates? I also thought about buying a control ward at game start and warding their jungle so that it is harder for us to get ganked. Is that a good idea?

I hope this post doesn't come off as me hating on Heimerdinger support, I am really trying to understand how to play to our lane's strengths instead of just being confused and dying.

Thanks!
