HD650s - where to go from here?

10+ years of using HD598 I decided to retire them and went for the HD650s - they're great, I love the detail, balanced sound, but I do want to try something else, as I have quite a diverse taste in music I'll hop from EDM to rap to classical/latin guitar, I'm looking for some cans, perhaps closed back, that'll really make trap/dubstep/edm shine more than these will.

I'm worried though, I've never tried high-end closed back cans, I feel like the soundstage will be closed off, the lack of airiness will feel unnatural to me, and I won't enjoy it as much, but I know it's new waters for me so I'm happy to take any suggestions!
