I want to get into HAM

I want to get into ham radio, but I have basically no knowledge. I know some basic electronics and circuitry but obviously there's much more to this than that. I was wondering if someone could give me a good jumping off point or place to start. What do I need to learn? Where do I learn it? Is the test hard? Anything you think would be useful.
