What's your favorite albums, and are your a musician or not?

I've noticed my musician friends all seem to like Aquarius and a Visions the best, whereas my non-musician friends all like The Mountain or Affinity the best. I'm wondering if this is a wider tread, and if so why do you think this would be the case? Personally I am a musician and I also like Aquarius and Visions better then the later albums overall (although I do love all the albums, the later ones had to grow on me a bit).
