4085 grafts, dr Dogan Turan, 11 months post op - what happened here?
Started taking finasteride ~7months pre-op and still taking it consistently. The hair has been patchy and there has been no density in the front/middle part, but I was assured that it'll grow back if I waited. This doesn't seem to just be a case of the natural hair falling out, as there is no density in the areas that only have transplanted hairs in them. Some of the photos have really harsh lighting to showcase what it looks like sometimes, when it's wet it just doesn't look presentable at all. I also did say that I did not want an aggressively low hairline, but I'm also not too happy with how the design turned out.
I'm now being told that they'll do a revision surgery, but honestly I'm not sure if doing it at the same place again would be a smart move as the first procedure was a sizable amount of grafts. I did my due diligence before booking the surgery, and this seemed like a good option based on all the reviews out there. The person that does patient communication for them isn't very professional and sometimes just leaves me on seen when I was checking in and asking if things look ok, doesn't respond to messages for week at a time, etc. Been going back and forth with them for about 1.5/2 months now trying to get the doctors opinion but it's been super difficult to even understand if doctor looked at it, or whether the person doing the communication is giving their opinion on the situation.
Wanted to get some opinions here, what do you think of the hair design and the way procedure was done, what is the reason it ended up the way it did, is there a chance that the same thing happens if I was to do another surgery? Would you recommend doing it elsewhere?
