A little word about Dobes

So i’ve been following the Rockets the last 2 years and this is what I have to say about Dobes.

Let’s start with the positive. I have not seen a goaler improve the way Dobes does since Halak and Price. He is a gem. From where he started last year to where he is. He improved with so much consistency.

Now let’s talk about where he can improve. I think that he has a hard time to get back up from the butterfly. He looks a little out of balance sometimes when he gets back up. Otherwise, he keeps on improving all the aspects of his game and you can see it from one period to another (at least it was like that all season).

Now the part that is not under his control is the team needs to protect him better. We cannot let players run into him the way they did tonight. He will get injured again this season if we let this happening.

The concerning part for me is also that he got injured twice this season for (each time) 1-2 weeks. He needs to play, but I don’t think that he can play 2/3 of tthe games (yet)!
