Team Black thinks the amount of houses that supported Rhaenyra is almost double the amount of houses that supported Aegon.

I then relied to their comment with this:

as i’ve already said, Martin goes in to detail about the houses who support the usurper. for some reason he doesn’t go into nearly as much detail about the houses who support Aegon. But in most battles the sides were evenly numbered, so clearly it couldn’t have been 53 - 28. The war would have ended within a couple months had that been the case. Notice that Martin names the stormlander houses Buckler and Fell as supporters of Rhaenyra, while naming only the stormlander house Baratheon as a supporter of Aegon. Surely you aren’t assuming that the Baratheons were the ONLY stormlander house to support Aegon, while all the rest of their vassals sat the war out. Just because Martin didn’t name the houses, doesn’t mean that they didn’t support Aegon. He names Buckler and Fell as they are the exceptions of the Stormlands. If you look at the numbers, the amount of men Baratheon fielded couldn’t possibly have been from only his own domain anyways, there’s simply too many. You’re being hypocritical here. If you think that Martin needed to name every house that supported either side, then surely he would have named EVERY northern house, because we know that the full force of the North rode south to “die for the dragon queen”.
