Switching jobs in London, Meta vs Bloomberg

Currently 32(F) work as an architect in Fintech with £140TC been there a few years and am looking for a change as want to learn and grow.

I am in the interview process for Bloomberg and Meta, wanted to ask this community as there is lots of talk of getting into FAANG.

My wants: - Maintain work/life balance, I have a toddler and plan to have more kids in the next few years so that’s main priority - increase my overall package if possible - career growth and learning

Bloomberg role is a product manager, they are looking for someone with technical background and seems to have a good culture. In office 4 days which is a little tough but possible. Seems like a good side step from architecture which I am not sad about. Package £140-£210.

Meta is an architect role, it’s a 12 month contract which makes me uneasy and office days TBC. I am paranoid at the mass layoffs and also just moral greyness of their product. Package TBC but seems it would be similar.

I am leaning towards Bloomberg just for the stage of life I am in. My husband is in office 5 days and if I get a pay bump the idea is he would become part time and hopefully after our second child I could also return part time while still being able to afford mortgage/childcare (let’s see if this is just a dream)

What are your thoughts? Any people work at Bloomberg/Meta now and weigh on culture?
