Possibly moving to Guadalajara for a job opportunity

Hello! my apologies in advance for the english (I am not a Spanish speaker but am trying to learn), I am posting as my job is opening a new office in GDL and wanted to know if and from all the research I have done, it seems extremely dangerous? I would be working at a tech firm and assisting with the building out that office. I wanted to get the opinion of people who live there on wether this is a good idea or not? Please let me know if I need to add more context/ info!
