Swipe to see timestamps removed?

A month or so ago I noticed they added a feature where you could swipe left in a chat to see the timestamps of all the messages. It was such a useful feature. Then all of a sudden a couple days ago I stopped being able to do it. Did they remove the timestamp feature already? Or is there just something wrong on my end?
