What is up with these weird reviews of places on the US/Mexico border?
Alright this feels like a schizopost but here we go. I was looking around southern Arizona on Google maps when I first stumbled on this place called "Papago Farms FOB" which appears to be a US border patrol operating location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/yjcftdJEmfvnjDpQ9
Anyone know what could be up with the weird, slightly creepy Google reviews of this place? Also the pictures of tunnels? The one talking about Cyrillic alphabet stuck out to me as the weirdest. Could just be some people messing around I guess but the rabbit hole seems to go a bit deeper.
The "Sam Sung" guy that left a review also reviewed another border patrol location called Camp Grip: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DDYF7jc3yFkYFkkt6
And, what's even weirder, is this location he reviewed on the Mexico side of the border apparently in the middle of nowhere called "Huabi": https://maps.app.goo.gl/oBNh59yPjHre1CeG6
Google translate tells me this translates to " Paint Brush" in Chinese and it also has some really bizarre reviews. I noticed this location has a Call button on Google maps which came up with the phone number: +853 6569 8765. What's even weirder? After some searching around this appears to be a number belonging to some type of Chinese paramilitary company and it appears on the footer of their website: http://www.zhhwbaoan.com
I tried calling it but just got an error. Possibly because I don't have international calling enabled though idk.
Anyways, can anyone make heads or tails of this?
