volume issues?

i play on ipad, and frequently whenever i turn the sysyem volume off for ads, when theyre over and i turn the system volume back up the game is silent? i never touch the music/sfx sliders, so theyre both still up, and i dont use the mute button on the ad cus i have shakey hands and often miss and wind up opening the ad's link. the game sound only turns back on when i close and reopen the app.

its not every ad, but i do sit down and play 4-6 in-game days in a row and it happens once or twice every time i play (i do watch at least 1 of them from the news report every in-game day and usually 2 or 3 from the little tablet throughout my session to stock my gems,)

anyone else expirence this and if so have any better way to fix it other then restarting whatever day goes silent? 😭 this doesnt happen with any other game i play on my ipad
