Mods please don’t relegate me to the AI thread, I think this will spark quality discussion.

But this is the only thing and I won’t even think about AI again until the album drops. I understand the comparison between Autotune and AI in music, and how the public reaction is initially similar. I will also preface this by saying I am staunchly against AI use at the moment.

My question is: What is the benefit?

I get with auto tune it makes the vocals more appealing. It works for some folks and doesn’t for others. With AI, every iteration I have heard is so much worse than normal vocals. I don’t see any argument for how this ENHANCES the music in any form.

Please I really do want to see the vision but I just can’t right now. Any answer to this is much appreciated.
