Nov 17 Glitch - called them again, their response

Those who don't know about the glitch -- here's my prior post (TLDR all nov 17 applications disappeared into thin air).

Since my Global Entry application is set to expire on 1/16 but my application disappeared into thin air I called them again today. I will be going on a flight on 1/17 so I was really hoping to not have a gap in my Global Entry benefits.

The agent checked to see the latest with the 11/17 situation, and she shared some info. Wanted to share here in case others also speak with Global Entry and compare notes

  1. She said that they are working on re-instating the applications. She said that once the application is re-instated I will definitely get the 1 year grace period again because I applied before
  2. That said she's worried I may not get the application re-instated on time for the 1/17 flight, because she knows they are working on it right now but don't know how long it will take.
  3. She re-escalated my case to let them know about my situation. She gave me a new case reference number.

If anyone else ends up calling them can you share what you hear as well? especially if you hear anything different. She seemed to be learning as she goes as well so wasn't sure how accurate the info is.
