Birthday gift ideas "from the dog" to my husband.
It's my husband's 30th bday coming up and I saw a birthday card from your dog at the dollar tree. I'm doing 30 gifts for his 30th b-day and I need a gift idea "from the dog" to my husband. We have a border collie/black lab mix. Hopefully something under $20 since his other gifts have been pretty costly. Thank you all so much for your help in advance ❤️
Also, I still need to come up with 8 more gifts to reach 30. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated!
Edit
Thank you for all your ideas! I have added a few of them to my list. I'm adding my list below since it's been requested. Since some items were more expensive, some items were free or pretty cheap. He's also very sentimental and writes me letters and cards all the time. So that's why there are a few cards as gifts. I honestly wish I thought of this idea earlier so more planning could have been done with it. But anyway....here's my list, but I might change some 😄
- Birthday card explaining the 30 gifts, and a video of my dog howling while playing an instrumental Birthday song. (He likes to howl with my dog sometimes - he thinks it's funny)
- Honey (he goes thru several bottles a month)
- Wool socks
- Pound town tickets
- Hygiene basket (his favorite soap, deodorant, body wash, ect)
- Mario Party Nintendo Switch
- Bday Card with a dog and ball on it with a ball from dog
- Sweatpants
- Photo desk calendar
- Air Hockey table
- Bday card- I wrote 30 things I love about him. I also found a desk decor at homegoods of two hands shaped as a heart. Giving it with this card because he does that hand symbol to me a lot.
- White sweater (he requested this for his bday)
- I wrote a poem and superimposed it over a photo of us.
- His favorite candy bars
- 2D needle felt portrait of us (which I'm making)
- Board game
- Thank you card- 30 reasons why I'm thankful he's in my life. I also drew a picture of us in it.
- Nintendo switch joycon controllers
- Dog snoot in frame (or paw print) or diy dog artwork
- Bday card - with cash to buy a McDonald's or Wendy's breakfast on his way to work whenever he wants (once every few weeks he does this)
- 30 quarters (for car vacuum place) as well as a gift cars to a different car wash.
- NHL hockey tickets
- His favorite cookies (homemade day of)
- Card from dog - with a 'stick she found on her walk with mom' and socks with her face on it
- Freeze dried candy - specifically nerd clusters
- 30 minute hourglass for his desk at work so every 30 minutes he can get up and stretch.
- Sports team shirt
- Birthday card that says "don't lose this birthday card" and in the inside it says "because it's your present" I was gonna put it in a box in a box in a box as kind of a gag gift for fun.
- NHL team hat
- A small box with a single Hershey kiss inside. And a note that says I hid 29 other kisses in the house and he's supposed to find them and bring them back to me for a kiss (wherever he wants)
