Does anyone actively watch YouTube anymore?

I've been scrolling through YouTube lately and it feels like there's nothing worth watching anymore...

Maybe it's just my own feed but what's the point of the thousandth letsplay video? Or the thousandth 2 hour long "thought provoking" video essay on the latest Twitter discourse? Or the thousandth video telling me about every which way the world is burning?

Everything just feels like useless talking that doesn't even make good background noise anymore. All with thumbnails so grossly optimized to stick to your eyes that it feels insulting to look at.
