How are you making our world better?
Our generation is getting older (I believe the oldest of us is almost 30 now). We're starting to become as prominent in the cultural discourse as the Millennials were when we were kids.
My question is, what are you doing to help us make this place better for our kids (or the future people, in case you don't have kids).
My aim here is to spread the positive things that real people our age are doing. To give people something to focus on, something to actually DO, rather than doomscroll, or stare blankly into the void between shifts at work.
It can be anything. Getting a job, advocating for sidelined (marginalized) people, having conversations with people our age about these topics, learning the nuances, practicing tolerance/acceptance. Anything you're doing to make yourself or the world a better place than it was yesterday.
If we're going to be alive in any future, we need to make sure that future is a good one for everyone, not just us, or those we like.
I have a comment here explaining my own work.
