Wait for s10?

I'm thinking of getting a tablet for notes and schoolwork. Is there generally a large enough innovation between generations to justify waiting for the s10 to come out? As well as a price drop potentially?

Basically should I buy an s9 or wait for an s10.

Also if/when I get either, regular, plus or ultra?
