How many floating app windows on TabS8 ?

Hi,

How many apps can be displayed as windows at the same time ?

Is there a way through a shortcut or an app to launch XX apps in floating windows and have them automatically positionned on the screen at the last position they were closed ? (kind of app launcher but not in fullscreen but as floating windows)
