Economics major?

Looking to switch my major from accounting, this is honestly such a tedious major. I find myself studying economics and political issues in my free time anyway. My question is what internships can I get and what career paths can I expect after graduation. I plan on doing the BS MA program and haven’t decided on a minor, I’m leaning towards public policy, what’s a good minor? Recent or past grads your advice is also wanted.
