North XL vs Define 7 vs Pop Silent
Hello,
I'm debating whether to buy a Fractal Design North XL or normal size. I'll get the version that doesn't have the mesh, as I've read that the North XL with mesh is very unstable. I don't know if that'll be enough to solve the issues I've read people complaining about.
Some other options I'm contemplating are the Define 7 and Pop Silent. Or from a different brand, Nox Hummer Void.
I definitely prefer no-window, all black, but the North's aesthetics are my weakness.
This is my setup:
- Gigabyte X870 EAGLE WIFI7
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7/5.2GHz
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING OC 16GB GDDR6X DLSS3
- Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6400MHz 32 GB 2x16GB CL32 for AMD
- Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB SSD 7250MB/S NVME PCIe 5.0 x2 NVMe 2.0 NAND
- Samsung 990 Pro 2TB SSD 7450MB/S NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 Gen4
- Nox Hummer GDX 750W PCIE 5.0 80 Plus Gold
- Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black
Which one do you recommend between the following:
- Fractal Design North or North XL (with window)
- Fractal Design Define 7 Compact or Define 7 (no window)
- Fractal Design Pop Silent or Pop Silent XL (no window)
I'm also open to suggestions.
Thank you so so much for your time!
