Connecting Desktop Account To PlayStation

So I currently have a Fortnite account on Epic Games, which is linked to my Steam account. If I linked my Epic Games account to my PlayStation account instead of my Steam account, would this allow me to keep my current Fortnite account, and play it on both my desktop and PlayStation 5?
